Zutara Fun

So I'm a geek. And I love complex relationships. For a mostly children's show like Avatar, Zutara is fairly complex. And I like it that way.

So I'm going to do a fanfic. It will be fannon, since Bryke made Kataang canon. Which doesn't make sense. She's like his mother!

And I've done fanart (See below). It's getting me attention on DevArt...gah... the temptation to give in to "get more favs!" is....almost overwhelming. But since I'm not Bri-chan or Messa, I think my status as unknown nobody is safe.

Here's my latest Zutara drawing. Yes. I'm still digging the reference photo I used out the hard drive to give proper credit. Close your eyes children, you're parents might skin me alive.

So yeah. I'm a geek. Complete. Total.

WHOO HOO!

Life! It's life! Which means I'm exaughsted, hungry (no food in the house) and really, really hating fingernails. Mine grow too fast and I never manage to cut them. Thus, in a three week time span I watch my typing go from acceptable to trash as they get longer. Urg.

In other news, I am simoultaneously playing on the Truth Project website, the almost live simulcast training session I went to yesterday, and BRK. Because Christianity and World of Warcraft are like the peanut butter and jelly of my day. Um... yeah. That made no sense, but whatever. But hey, I'm a huntard who'se trying to better herself, right? Right. Therefore, I LEARN! And wait for November 13 to come FAST!

I'm also entertaining myself by watching various videos, such as this one. Highly amusing. Makes me want to roll shaman. And that's bad, because I'm currently leveling my mage like there's no tomorrow in hopes to have her somewhere reachable of 80 by the time Wrath comes out. Level little mage level! (She's so cute, with her ice cream hair... XD )

And where am I doing all of this wonderful fun stuff? At work! Last day of the season, yay! So rather than be productive, my plan is to sit and vegetate in front of the computer, maybe read some Avatar Zutara Fafics if I can find anything worth reading, and just be blah! Yayayayayayayay!

Adio.

On Palin

I won't be able to see her speech tonight. I'm working. Yay me.

But here's what I think:

I'm glad Alaska's being noticed for something other than corruption scandals and oil.

I'm tired of the negative way people view my state. Some *cough*PDiddy*cough* seem to think that if a place isn't full of crime, crackheads, and oh yeah, black people, they don't matter. That cuts out the entire middle section of the country now doesn't it? And by the way, we do have black people up here. But with a lower population state, there is a smaller number of them. It's simple math folks.

Some people are proud of not living in a huge city. Some of us like not having a skyline of skyscrapers. I'd rather worry about being mauled by a bear in a park than survive a day in a place bigger than Anchorage.

Speaking of rural, it's rural areas that put bread on your table, blue collar workers who build your cars; and the non-office types who you love to watch catching crabs. There's nothing wrong with not spending your entire day in the office, and for people who do spend their days in offices to look down on those who don't is being ignorant of the value of those people. (Not that all white collar workers feel that way, but it's the prevalent opinion on the media these days.)

And that's about all the eloquent things I can say on that topic.

No longer a virgin!

Lol

A Blogspot virgin that is.

Here's my initial post. I'm Robin Coots, from Anchorage Alaska. I'm currently a student at the Art Institute of Phitsburgh Online studying Media Arts and Animation. I work for a tour boat company doing reservations, and every winter I swear I will one day live in a place where you don't spend most of your day in the dark. But it never happens.

That's me!
